Key Policies & Notes

Essential information to help you navigate your academic journey successfully.

Students are expected to attend all scheduled lectures and tutorials. Attendance is recorded at each session. Regular attendance is essential for academic success and visa compliance for international students.

For students enrolled in the Master of Cyber Security, teaching is primarily delivered face-to-face on campus in Sydney. Students are typically required to attend campus two days per week, with approximately six hours of scheduled classes each day.

The Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security is delivered 100% online for domestic students.

  • Mid-Term Exams: Held in Week 8 of each semester
  • Final Exams: Held in Week 16 of each semester
  • Students must be available during all scheduled examination weeks
  • Misreading the timetable is not an acceptable excuse for absence

Final grades are announced following approval by the Academic Board. Students can access their results through the student portal. Results are typically released within 1 week after the examination period ends.
